Satanism is all about: the real world. Not a world constructed upon wishful
platitudes and unsubstantiated promises of life after death, but a very
tangible place of potential for those who possess the intellect and the
instinct to achieve excellence and happiness in their lives -- here and
now! The real world doesn't care about prayers or excuses or empty posturing.
Those are for people trying to escape the real world in the form of whatever
type of 'running away' from reality they feel is required. As a Satanist,
I have no use for such fantasy living. The 'great indulgence' of life
compels me, not trudging through a dreary and deprived existence in anticipation
of dying and then presumedly moving onto a realm whose actuality is more
than highly suspect. Such denial and naiveté are fit for slaves.
Not me."
Purging Talon Executive Director Matt G. Paradise will be releasing his
first authored book, Bearing The Devil's Mark -- perhaps as soon as the end of 2007. The book is a collection of 14 years worth of
work, including many of Paradise's best essays from Not Like Most
magazine, a few from the long since published Poo Poo Magazine, and some
new and previously unavailable pieces as well. Much of the material will
center in and around Satanism, brought to you by someone with over 25
years of actively living the Satanic philosophy. Also expect an expansive
appendix section with interview bits, the newest Satanism FAQ, recommended
